Terms & Conditions
Platform Use & Commercial Responsibility
Welcome to SourceBuild.ai. By accessing or using our platform and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions, which establish the commercial responsibilities and boundaries between SourceBuild.ai and your organization.
These terms apply to buyers, suppliers, and any authorized users acting on behalf of an organization. They are designed for procurement teams operating in Australia and across international building-materials supply markets.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Commercial Boundaries
By utilizing SourceBuild.ai, you explicitly agree to use the service within the defined platform rules and its applicable commercial responsibility boundaries.
SourceBuild.ai operates strictly as a procurement technology infrastructure and coordination layer. We provide software tools and, where contracted, managed facilitation services—we are not a party to your commercial transactions, contracts, or sourcing outcomes unless expressly agreed in a separate written agreement.
If you do not agree with these terms, you must not access or use the platform.
2. Authenticity of Information & Verification Limits
To maintain the integrity of the platform ecosystem, a strict standard of honesty and transparency is required from all participants:
User responsibility
Both buyers and suppliers are solely responsible for ensuring that all sourcing requests, specifications, company profiles, certifications, and communication files provided are entirely genuine, lawful, and accurate.
No universal verification
SourceBuild.ai does not, and cannot, verify the authenticity, validity, or legality of all documents, credentials, or bid responses uploaded to the platform.
Assumption of risk
Users must perform their own independent vetting, due diligence, and risk assessment. SourceBuild.ai disclaims liability arising from falsified, inaccurate, or misleading documentation or representations provided by third-party buyers or suppliers.
3. Platform Scope & Buyer Autonomy
SourceBuild.ai provides sophisticated tools for procurement coordination, centralized recordkeeping, cross-border communication, and workflow automation.
The platform is intended to improve visibility, speed, and collaboration—it does not constitute legal, engineering, financial, or procurement advice.
Important disclaimer
The platform does not replace, substitute, or replicate the buyer’s own commercial judgment, legal contract review, technical engineering verification, pricing validation, or final sourcing decisions. All final commitments are made at the sole discretion and risk of the buying organization.
4. Managed Services Boundaries
For organizations utilizing our Managed Service model, SourceBuild.ai may actively assist with RFQ outreach, multi-lingual translation, and initial supplier follow-ups.
Managed services are administrative and operational in nature. They do not transfer procurement accountability from the client to SourceBuild.ai.
Facilitation role
Our team acts strictly as an administrative facilitator, helping move enquiries forward according to instructions provided by your organization.
Client retains control
The final procurement responsibility, supplier qualification, contract signing, payment terms, and commercial decisions remain exclusively with the client organization.
5. Acceptable Use, Changes & Commercial Onboarding
You agree not to misuse the platform—for example, by uploading unlawful content, attempting unauthorized access, interfering with platform operations, or using SourceBuild.ai in a manner that harms other users or breaches applicable law.
We may update platform features, policies, or these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable channels. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
These terms represent a general framework for platform utilization. For enterprise onboarding, customized service level agreements (SLAs), detailed service scopes, data-processing arrangements, or further contractual specifics, please contact our team directly.
